How did it all begin? After 20 years of experience with specialist stores for this traditional clothing, Mr. Winkler opened an online mail order business for traditional costume fashion in 2006. The following year, dirndls and lederhosen from Winkler are also available on Amazon and eBay. However, most orders are received via the company’s own online store.

In the seasonal months, that’s over 1000 shipments a day! And since shipping with PARCEL.ONE has become available, more and more Americans, Australians and Canadians are also opting for the stylish traditional costumes from the south
of Germany.

HOW DO CUSTOMERS CLICK?

Google and co. provided valuable information on the surfing behavior of customers. It quickly became clear that potential customers from overseas were enthusiastic about the offer, but were unable to find a satisfactory shipping option with the existing logistics service providers and abandoned the purchase at checkout.
